Eligibility Criteria (As of August 01, 2025)
Candidates must fulfill the following educational and age requirements to be eligible for the 2026 recruitment:
1. Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold at least a Second Class degree in a relevant field such as Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.), Science/Maths (Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.), Management (MBA or PG Diploma from AICTE-recognized institution), or various professional qualifications (CA, CWA, Pharmacy, etc.).
2. Age Limit
The minimum age is 21 years. The maximum age is 37 years for General category males, 40 years for UR/BC/EBC females, and 42 years for SC/ST candidates. Age relaxation is available as per Bihar Government rules for reserved categories.
Application Fee
The application fee is ₹100 for all candidates and can be paid online. An additional ₹200 biometric fee is applicable if an Aadhaar number is not provided.
Selection Process
The selection process involves three stages: a Preliminary Exam (objective type) covering relevant subjects, a Mains Exam (written) including compulsory and optional subjects, and an Interview (personality test).
